Description : Sherman Creek Hatchery's primary objective is the restoration and enhancement of the recreational and subsistence fisher in Lake Roosevelt and Banks Lake. The hatchery was designed to rear 1.7 million kokanee fry for acclimation and imprinting during the spring and early-summer. Additionally, it was designed to trap all available returning adult kokanee during the fall for broodstock operation and evaluation.
