Description : The Vancouver Trout Hatchery is located along the lower Columbia River near Vancouver, Washington. The Vancouver hatchery was constructed in 1938 and 1939. Fish species reared at the facility include rainbow trout, brown trout, and coastal cutthroat trout. Operation of the facility is through a non-profit partnership formed in 2000. Participants in the partnership include: Evergreen Public Schools, City of Vancouver, Clark County, Vancouver Public Schools, Clark College, Clark Public Utilities, and WDFW.
